PHIUS Presentation @ Steen Engineering

After working together on the Passive House pre-certified Hook & Ladder project, a multifamily housing development in NE Minneapolis, Precipitate's Elizabeth Turner and Steen's own mechanical engineer John Hazucha spent a lunch hour sharing their experience with a larger group of engineers at Steen. Elizabeth introduced the history and fundamentals of Passive House before detailing the results of Hook & Ladder, while John spoke to the key differences in mechanical system design necessary to achieve such an efficient and high performing building.
